About Fizan

Founded in 1947 by Domenico Fincati, Fizan pioneered the use of aluminum in ski poles when the rest of world was still using steel or bamboo. Since then, the company has become a leader in the market, widely known in Europe for its alpine and Nordic walking poles, and among the ultralight community for its Compact series of trekking poles. Seventy years after its inception, Fizan remains family owned and operated, and all poles are still made in its factory in Veneto, Italy, using environmentally friendly and socially responsible practices. In 2011, Fizan invested in the photovoltaic system for the production of electricity with approximately 50 kW of power. In this way, they are able to be self-sufficient for around 60% of our annual needs, avoiding CO2 emissions, which are harmful to the environment (around 25,000 kg of CO2 per year).

Collapsible, Adjustable & Ultralight

Featuring three sections, the Tierra is adjustable from 63 to 140 cm (24.8 to 55 inches) and weighs 226 grams (8 oz) per pole. This features replaceable carbide tips for traction on dirt trails and metal-reinforced, highly textured rubber tip covers for rocky trails and slippery surfaces. Along with the included 50 mm basket, the poles can accommodate press-fit baskets from other brands.
